Our late night exodus from Reliegos moved us closer to Santiago and gave us more rest time in Leon. Laurel and Betty were up early and had located a suitable laundrymat by the time we had finished breakfast. To be safe, in case any bedbugs hitched a ride with us, nearly everything we owned was washed in hot water and dried for 30 minutes on the highest heat. The rest of the day was spent exploring Leon and people watching from our balcony high above Mayor Plaza. With the excitement behind us, we all feel that Leon is a good place to relax.
